Trucking Leads, LLC (“we,” “us,” “our”) operates truckinginsurancenow.com (the “Site”) to connect trucking businesses with licensed insurance agents who can provide insurance quotes. This policy explains what information we collect through the Site, how we use it, and who we share it with.
Information we collect
When you submit our quote request form, we collect:
- Contact information: first and last name, phone number, email address, state
- Business information: business name, USDOT number, type of trucking, years in business, number of trucks
- Insurance and risk information: MVR violation history, radius of operations, type of insurance requested, current insurance company
- Technical information collected automatically: IP address, browser type, and referring page, including tracking parameters (such as UTM codes) that tell us which email or ad brought you to the Site
How we use your information
We use the information you submit to:
- Match you with licensed insurance agents who write policies for your state and type of trucking operation
- Transmit your request to those agents through our lead distribution platform (Leadspedia) so they can contact you directly with quotes
- Operate, maintain, and improve the Site
- Communicate with you about your request
We are not an insurance company, agent, or broker. We do not provide insurance quotes ourselves. Submitting the form authorizes us to share your information with one or more independent, licensed insurance agents so they may contact you.
Who we share information with
We share the information you submit with:
- Licensed insurance agents and agencies participating in our network, who receive your request in order to contact you with a quote
- Service providers who help us operate the Site and deliver leads, including our lead distribution platform (Leadspedia) and our email service provider
- Government authorities or other third parties, where required by law or to protect our legal rights
We do not sell your information to data brokers or to companies outside the trucking insurance matching process described in this policy.
Cookies and tracking
The Site may use cookies or similar technologies to remember where you came from (for example, which email campaign) and to understand how visitors use the Site. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, though some parts of the Site may not function as intended if you do.
